Your Complete Guide to Everything You Will Need For Your Pregnancy

Is it Possible to get a Free Home Pregnancy Test?

Unless you’re planning to shoplift it, you probably won’t get a free home pregnancy test anytime soon. At least there’s no one online or off that’s advertising one.

Online

If you Google free home pregnancy test you’ll get a lot of hits but none of the sites listed actually give away free home pregnancy tests. You can however, get free shipping on home pregnancy tests from some of the sites listed.

You can call a toll-free number to talk to someone about home pregnancy tests or sign up for a free newsletter concerning home pregnancy tests but there doesn’t seem to be any online links for a free home pregnancy test.

What really makes me mad are the sites that advertise that they have free home pregnancy tests and when you go to the site they are actually priced at 1.49 or 3.25 or some weird figure like that. I wouldn’t bother with any of these as they have no information listed about them and forgive me, but I’m a little suspicious about a pregnancy test that sells for 1.49.

Community Resources

Most likely, the only way you’re going to get a free pregnancy test of any kind is through either Planned Parenthood or some type of community clinic. Every city has those clinics that will test you for free even if you are a minor without telling your parents. Unless these clinics have started to hand out free home pregnancy tests, you’ll still have to do it the old fashioned way.

You’d be surprised at how many of those home pregnancy tests walk off the shelves. Try this. Google shoplift home pregnancy test and see what you come up with. You’ll see there are several stories about people who have been caught shoplifting these magical boxes.

Young people today don’t realize how lucky they are to even be able to buy one of these home pregnancy tests. They haven’t been on the market that long and before they were on the market, you could hardly find a free pregnancy test in a clinic either.

I have trouble feeling sympathy for anyone who can’t afford a home pregnancy test. If they can’t even buy one of these little kits, how are they supposed to take care of a baby if the test is positive?

Think about that next time you are looking for a free home pregnancy test or are talking to someone who is. Let’s not play with fire if we can’t even buy a smoke alarm.

I am not some poor person who googled to find free pregnancy tests because I cannot afford one. I googled it because I am currently TTC and thought it would be really nice to get one for free with as many as I go through each month. You are not looking on both sides of the fence here. No, I didn’t find any free tests online, but that does not mean I intend to go and steal one.

So sorry you feel that way- I truly hope you don’t intend to get pregnant anytime soon- but remember, your words will come back to you.
Also, did you ever consider that the person looking for one might not feel comfortable to walk into a store to purchase a test?
And as far as the cheap tests you mentioned go- they work great- many many many people who are TTC use them and get BFP’s daily- they are just as good as the one’s on the shelf of the local grocery store.
Perhaps you should remove your biased information.
